DOUBLE CLEAR

The Plot:
With her son turning eighteen and starting
his senior year, Sara finally has a chance to
embark on her dreams and her new life
with Simon. However her plans of mov-
ing to the next level of competition hit a
snag, and when Leandro shows up again
in her life, she‟s torn between what she‟s
always wanted and the life she‟s built with
Simon. She‟s going to have to make some
decisions, especially since she‟s been rid-
ing young horses with Zahra and discov-
ering new dreams to go along with, or even possibly replace, the
old. The changes in her life will either bring her and Simon
closer together or push them apart. Who said it was easy be-
coming an empty nester?
Note: The books in the series all feature the same characters, but each story
stands on its own. Reading the entire series will bring the horses and riders
at Noble Dreams into a bigger story.
An Excerpt
Simon grabbed the piece and took a big bite. When he swal-
lowed, he flipped the lid closed on the box. “You know, we
could order another one for breakfast like we used to.”
Sara groaned. “Oh no. I don‟t think I could eat pizza several
times a week and keep my figure.” She laughed as she stood and
took the pizza box to the trash can. She cleaned up, then stifled a
yawn. “I need to go over the show schedule and the planned
trips we have to look at colleges for Johnny. I‟ll be in the study.”
“A romantic date night,” Simon replied, only slightly sarcasti-
cally. “Should I pencil in something for maybe an hour?” He
made a show of finishing the last piece of pizza.
Sara chuckled. “Sure.” She yawned again. “I‟ll try to stay
awake.”
“Oh, babe. You‟ve been burning the candle at both ends
lately, haven‟t you? Being extra competitive at the shows. Taking
care of Johnny. Taking care of me for a while there.” He stood
and walked around the table to pause behind her. Resting his
hands on her shoulder, he kneaded softly.

Biography:
Mary Kit Caelsto never grew out of the phase of being a “horse crazy girl”. Though she‟s now over 40, she‟s
finally fulfilling her dream of writing equestrian books for others who haven‟t grown out of being “horse crazy”.
She lives in the Ozarks with her four very spoiled and very opinionated horses, as well as a large flock of poultry
and enough cats to qualify her as a crazy cat lady. Her husband, though not an equestrian himself, understands
and supports all her equestrian dreams.
She‟s convinced three of the best things in the world are the smell of a sun warmed horse, the smell of
leather tack, and making sure to hug her horses every single day.
