Russell W. Schafer was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Specializing in motoryacht and sportfishing yacht sales, Russ is the
third generation in his family to be in the boat building/boat sales
industry.
“I was raised in a true fishing family and was fishing tournaments at
10 years of age. Boating is in my blood, mixed with a little bit of
Atlantic saltwater."
There Russ learned a great deal about the yachting industry in the
family business, Fishermans Paradise, by selling electronics, engines
and of course, boats.
"My idea of success is enjoying what one does for a living, and I really
enjoy selling yachts.” This attitude, combined with his knowledge of
yachts and seamanship, as well as a family history of yachting has led
to Russell’s success today.
Russ' key to success is listening to his client and putting the client’s
interests first and foremost. He finds a great deal of satisfaction in
doing the footwork and researching the current yacht market in order
to find the best fit for his client in yacht design and features, as well as
in negotiating the best price possible.
When selling a client’s yacht, Russ uses his expertise to determine a
current, yet competitive market value along with presenting the yacht
in the most appealing way through numerous avenues.
If you are looking for a young, high energy, enthusiastic yachting
professional who is known for being a top salesman, you can call Russ
at 954.445.2290 or e-mail him at [email protected].
“Whether looking for the right yacht, or looking to sell your current
one, please feel free to contact me to discuss our marketing strategy,"
Russ says. "You won’t be disappointed.”
I
MY BROKER
“Not many brokers that would have gone to that much effort”
Just wanted to shoot you a quick note and tell you how much
I enjoyed working with you on the sale of Low Life. You did an
outstanding job of keeping me updated throughout the process
as well as advising me what you thought it would take to sell
the boat. Furthermore it was you going the extra mile and
reaching back out to everyone who had contacted you on the
boat the previous 9 months that ultimately resulted in the sale.
Not many brokers that would have gone to that much effort
and give my boat so much special attention.
Given my addiction to all things fiberglass I’m positive we’ll be
connecting on many more transactions in the future. Looking
forward to a friendship for years to come.
