MEET KEVIN
Kevin Frawley was born in San Rafael, California, but spent most of his
childhood in Ohio and Michigan prior to moving to Fort Lauderdale
in 1992. He joined the United States Coast Guard in 2001 and spent
his first two years of service in the Presidential Honor Guard in
Washington, D.C., performing ceremonial duties at the White House,
Pentagon and Tomb of the Unknowns as well as performing funeral
services at Arlington National Cemetery. Frawley was then assigned to
the Coast Guard Cutter ‘Valiant’, a 210’ medium endurance cutter out
of Miami Beach.
Onboard 'Valiant', he served as a gunners mate, quartermaster and
boarding team member. The Valiant patrolled Caribbean waters
conducting drug and migrant interdiction, inand was the first U.S.
asset to arrive in Port-au-Prince during the 2004 Coup d’état, in which
Frawley received the Commandant’s Letter of Commendation.

In the spring of 2004, he volunteered for a one-year deployment to
serve onboard the Coast Guard Cutter ‘Wrangell’ a 110' Island class
cutter in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Duties on board CGC 'Wrangell'
included boarding and inspecting all vessels transiting Iraq waters and
protecting the Khor Al Amaya and Al Basrah oil terminals, which were
extremely crucial to the Iraqi economy.
Upon completion of this deployment, he was awarded the Navy and
Marine Corps Achievement medal. Returning to the United States as
a gunners mate 2nd Class in 2005, Frawley was assigned to the CGC
'Sitkinak', another 110’ cutter out of Miami Beach. Frawley was one of
the first responders for the crash of Chalks Flight 101 on December
19, 2005. For his service onboard ‘Sitkinak’, he was awarded the Coast
Guard Achievement medal.
During his final year in the U.S. Coast Guard, Frawley began to look for
his next career path, and it became clear when he met Bob Denison
through a mutual friend. Joining the team that year, when Denison
Yacht Sales was still a small operation of less than five, he began selling
brokerage boats in the 25'–85' range.
In 2009, Denison started to represent Selene Yachts and Frawley was
selected as general manager of Denison Yacht Sales’ first new boat line.
This position allowed Frawley to learn a great deal about yacht design
and the building process. He traveled China multiple times each year
with each new owner to preview, inspect and implement any changes
to the yachts. He has continued in brokerage and new boats, handling
sales in Denison’s dealership for multiple brands.
Kevin has been married to his high school prom date, Carolyn since
2007. They have four children, Ryan, Dane, Daphne and Rhett. Any
time off and weekends are spent roughhousing with the kids, on the
water, or playing golf.
