Being born and raised in South Florida and growing up on the Loxahatchee River in Jupiter , it was hard not to have a strong passion for boating and being out on the water . This lead to many days being out on the water on boats and was a great learning tool for the future .
He was lucky to have learned from his father , Mike , who is also a yacht broker for the past 25 years . This allowed him to gain first-hand experience on how the business works . Besides witnessing from afar , he has gained experience by working numerous boat shows across South Florida .
One of the greatest characteristics he was able to learn , was how important integrity is in this industry . He took some of these lessons with him to help him graduate from Florida Gulf Coast with a bachelor ’ s degree in communications in 2016 .
