2 General Electric:- At a sod-turning ceremony held at Thushanang Primary School today, General
Electric’s (GE) Steam Power committed R20 million towards the removal of asbestos classrooms and
infrastructure upgrades to benefit over 1000 learners. The initiative, which forms part of GE’s school
infrastructure upgrade project, also helps the school meet the norms and standards of the School
Infrastructure Regulations.
