A Message from the Headmaster…
It is a great pleasure for Maritzburg College
to host the Headmaster, Staff, Boys and
Parents of DHS, Voortrekker and Linpark.
We welcome you to our campus for what is
bound to be a highly enjoyable and fiercely
contested fixture between our great
schools.
A special welcome too, to our 2018 grade 8
boarders who have joined us for the annual
boarder sleepover experience at College.
We trust you will enjoy your time with us.
Thank you to the sports coaches, the
officials and Estate staff from our schools
whose hard work makes these fixtures
possible.
I would like to take this opportunity to
thank First National Bank for their
continued support through the FNB Classic
Clashes, which over the last 16 years, has
become one of the key school level
sporting events.
All staff members are invited to the Kent
Pavilion for snacks and refreshments at the
conclusion of the 1st XV
match.
I trust that you will all enjoy
the day and wish you safe
travels back home.
We sincerely hope that all who participate
or spectate today will enjoy all that is great
in schoolboy sport - the camaraderie, the
passion, the commitment and the
sportsmanship.
