This included one gala within the week. All the boys who participated did so with enthusiasm and commitment. A number of boys also took part in the Midmar Mile. The 2016 team was captained by L Johnson who did a great job of motivating and organising the team. College once again participated in six local galas, most of which were friendlies as no points were allocated. However, the following results were achieved by the team at the three major galas: Top 8 KZN Gala: Westville Invitational: seventh out of 12 (including schools from Gauteng and Freestate) Alan Burt Top 10: sixth out of 10 (this included five schools from Gauteng) College also ran a swimming programme within the school to ensure that all boys at College were water safe by the end of Third Form. Thanks to Messrs Sutherland, Lyons, Sherriff and Langman for all their effort and assistance throughout the season. fifth out of nine Mr G Waters The Championship gala was held during the first term.
