HOCKEY
A Glutz ( Large White Badge ): He did extremely well this year and offered something very different from the other forwards . What he lacked in pace he made up for in the nine-yard area . He has the ability to read the game and has an extremely high work rate . He is also a very good team man and makes sure every person in the team feels important . We look forward to seeing him excel in 2017 .
O Santoro : He is a quick and explosive forward who puts his body on the line whenever necessary . He has an excellent work ethic and does not quit easily . He was unlucky this season , sustaining an injury early on which put him back a few months . However , with his fighting spirit and will to compete he was back before the end of the season . He moves on at the end of this year and we wish him luck and know that he will do well .
M Forrest ( Vice-captain , Honours , SA U18A , KZN Inland U18A ): His performance was outstanding this season . He outclassed his peers in application , commitment and willingness to play next level hockey . He added value at the set pieces and scored many field goals . He led from the front in terms of his training ethic and in believing we could be the best . The number of hours he ploughed into the game and into developing himself was handsomely rewarded . His desire to be the best striker in the country drove him to achieve wonderfully in 2016 and I have no doubt that he will soon be achieving even higher honours .
C Volmink ( Honours , KZN Inland U18A ): He was a surprise package this season . He initially came in as an injury replacement and he never looked back . Having never played representative hockey before he went on to impress provincially , making the KZN Inland U18A team . He has another year at College and we wait with anticipation to see what will unfold for him .
J Campbell ( SA U16A , KZN Inland U16A ): He is an exciting youngster who is incredibly skilful and versatile . This season he grew better and more confident with each contest . His speed and ability to eliminate was really an asset to this team . We are very excited to see what he will achieve over the next two seasons .

vs Grey College ( Away ): Won 1-0
College got the second term off to a good start away from home , beating Grey 1-0 . Travelling for seven and a half hours to Bloemfontein to play the same day is not easy , but College were up to the task . The respective supporters added to an exciting atmosphere with a lot of vocal support . The first half was even with both teams having chances to score , but both goal-keepers were equal to the task . PBHS came into this fixture unbeaten in six matches and ranked number one in the country . College drew first blood early on in the contest , but despite several penalty corner opportunities , neither side could add to the score in the first half . vs Michaelhouse ( Away ): Won 1-0
We travelled to Michaelhouse for a hard fought 1-0 victory against a motivated home team on their Old Boys day . After a goalless first half , College came into the second half full of energy and had more of the play . College broke the deadlock with a goal after a counter-attack down the right-hand side of the field and had a few more opportunities to score but were sadly not sharp enough on the day .
