Assess and improve awareness of current apprenticeship programmes (e.g. National Dual Training System, which is comprised of 70-80% on-site practical training and 20-30% theoretical lessons) to attract more students and employers to utilize this channel as a valuable training system. Initiative 4.4 Undertake regular benchmarking of existing and developing apprenticeship programmes in other countries that have successfully coordinated and nurtured a MOHE, AMIM, IHLs, TVET rigorous training system for the sector.
