expenses, with a significantly lower utilization of HRDF pool fund.
6.3.2 Current and planned initiatives to attract and retain employees
As part of an ongoing effort to attract, develop and retain highly skilled employees in critical
and hard-to-fill positions, the three most common initiatives undertaken by respondents are:
i) Train current employees to fill in the gaps
ii) Offer better salaries as compared to industry average
iii) Provide better benefits and incentives for employees
