Quantitative Findings
Respondent profile
34 of the targeted establishments have completed the online questionnaire. As for the remaining
250 establishments within the sampling frame, they do not wish to complete or participate in
the online questionnaire. This was mostly due to the following factors:
i) Participation is not compulsory
ii) Most of their clients are not in the maritime sector (this applies to parts manufacturers)
The MSIC industries that were utilized in the questionnaire have been consolidated under
specific sub-sectors for simplification purposes, as follows:
