The professional who graduates from the Masters of Maritime and Port Management GEMA has competencies in: global geopolitics of the seas, ports and customs; maritime legislation and international agreements. Economy liner conferences and other mechanisms of shipping and freight operation; hull insurance, cargo, liability P & I, contracts covered by the International Maritime Law.
He or she has developed expertise and managerial skills, leadership capabilities, planning, organization, operation and business management in the maritime, port, customs and foreign trade field. They have knowledge about the protection of the environment and integrated coastal management.
He or she understand the importance of the ports as poles of development and national and international logistics chain. They know the theory and the application of the systems of geographic information SIG / SIGMA in port management and ships.
Also, students will develop their communication skills, discipline and ethical commitment. All these qualities make the difference in the professional life of graduates and are part of their comprehensive student training.
