COMPOSITION GENESIS OF THE PROJECT
Can Lis stands on the top of a cliff leaning on the sea, in the dry land of Mallorca’ s Migjorn( south-east of the island). Working on the scheme of traditional eastern patio house, for so long time studied and reinterpreted in different versions, the volumes are aligned and arranged so to make the whole Mediterranean Sea ideally becoming the infinite patio of the residence, while the traditional enclosing wall is fragmented in many parts which connects the volumes of the pavillions between them, separing and protecting the private interior space from the outside.
