PROJECT OVERVIEW
Monteisola, also known as“ the Iseo Lake’ s pearl” is the largest lake island in Mediterranean Europe. After having identified an area particularly affected by urban and environmental decay, the proposal for restoration intends to second the peculiarities of the landscape following at the same time the urban layout planned in the General Management Plan.
Public outdoor spaces and sport facilities at the core of the proposal intends to satisfy the needs of locals as well as to become a focus of interest for several sport and cultural events which actually take place along the lakeshores.
