PROJECT OVERVIEW
Borneo Sporenburg, Amsterdam, is an high-density district built between 1992 and 2000 in the frame of urban regeneration. The masterplan for the docks has been disposed by West 8 studio with parallel rows of private houses and some residential superblocks, all reaching the same height of three floors. Diversity in the arrangement of each single house results also in elevations, where a peculiar scheme can be observed in the juxtaposition of shapes and materials.

The Dutch architect Stepan Rektorik decided to build in here the studiohouse for himself and his family. Before re-drawing the building a work of analysis and research have been made for being able to render structural elements more in detail.
