PROJECT OVERVIEW
The design process heve been developed as a first approach to Life Cycle Assessment criteria, whose standards have been studied and discussed during the course.
The present case relates to Quarto Oggiaro district, Milan downtown. Besides the residential buildings, the northern side of the parcel include an underground public parking, for enhancing accessibility and pedestrianisation of the area, which is very close to the public park.
While the building’ s shape keeps the same regular layout of the existing neighborhood, public outdoor spaces have been planned with flowing pedestrian paths which directly connects the public halls at the ground floor with the main roads.
