PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Segal’ s method is a building technique formerly conceived around the Sixties by Walter Segal, for temporary modules which would give an opportunity for low cost residential architecture.
Its structure is based on a modular grid realized with ready-made elements, allowing a wide range of users to easily build a home up to two floors height. This extremely flexible solution would in fact promote great freedom for the user’ s choice regarding the arrangement of the rooms as well as the building materials and external cladding solution.
The proposal has been done for a studiohouse whose envelope’ s elements are made of sustainable and naturally breathable materials, matched with the specific aim of providing the better results in terms of durability of the building and indoor confort.
