TRAINING
Our # 1 priority is safety . American Cruise Lines is the only U . S . passenger vessel line that offers annual simulator training at our own state-of-theart ship simulator , specifically designed for our Captains and Mates . The simulator was created to be a replica of an American Cruise Lines bridge , which re-creates a wide variety of navigation and environmental conditions to provide realistic training scenarios .
American Cruise Lines has experienced instructors who lead programs of varying complexity and skill for each position . Both new-hire and recurring trainings are evaluated .
All training will take place at our brand new training facility in Salt Lake City , UT . The duration of your training will vary by position but typically last 1-2 weeks .
