Located less than a mile from the main crossroads of the picturesque and historic town of Point Reyes Station , Stockstill House provides 24-hour care in a licensed secured setting for up to eight residents ( 60 years and older ) and is staffed by qualified , experienced professionals who fully understand the realities of the aging process . For residents and their families , Stockstill House means safety , comfort and peace of mind , knowing their loved one ’ s physical , emotional and social needs are being met in a personal , attentive and caring way . Accommodations and services include semi-private rooms with country views ; an open and inviting dining room ; kitchen and living room area with a fireplace and decks ; daily assistance with bathing , dressing , medications and personal grooming needs ; and collaborative services such as hospice , home health , podiatry and dental hygiene care .
The decision to seek out residential care is often difficult .
