n the introduction of Leonard Koren’s 2008 seminal
work “Wabi-Sabi for Artist, Designers, Poets &
Philosophers” he writes: “Wabi-sabi is a beauty of
things imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete. It is a
beauty of things modest and humble. It is a beauty of
things unconventional.”
