2019
Wedding Gown
Trends
Twice a year, New York Bridal Fashion Week
attracts the best designers in the industry.
While they all bring their own flavour
to the runaway, here are some
of the main trends for 2019.

Jumpsuits Minimalistic
Made of feminine lace or directly inspired by the
gentlemen’s wardrobe, jumpsuits are everywhere
this season. Choose a plunging neckline for a
sexy effect and pair it with a regal cape for the
wow factor. Call it the “Meghan Markle Effect,” minimalistic
gowns are in full bloom this season. Choose an
A-line skirt with spaghetti straps for that '90s
touch, long sleeves for a sleek look or ornate it
up with an oversized bow to add a whimsical
touch.
Metallic & heavy appliqué
Once again this season, flower appliqués are
taking over the bridal industry. While most were
white on white in previous years, this time it is
all about metallic. Gold, bronze or silver, it’s
time to let it shine!
Cape
Worn over a ball gown for a dramatically regal
look or trailing behind a jumpsuit for a modern
twist, capes are a great option for brides who
don’t want to wear a veil but still want to make a
grand entrance.

Lavender
Lavender is one of the numerous pastel colours
that made its way to the catwalk. Perfect for an
edgy but still appropriate look, pastel dresses are
here to stay.
Turtle neck
While plunging necklines are still very present,
high neckline brings a refreshing twist to the
bridal industry. Choose a sophisticated lace or
a sheer material to delicately showcase your
collarbone.
