Hi Y’ all!
I hope everyone is getting excited as the warmer weather approaches! I know I am! With warmer weather comes more events and more daylight to spend with your horses during the day. The court and I recently attended a few more events, but one that was especially fun was on Feb 19th in Cannon Falls. We attended the Arena Trailer Sales event and greeted and chatted with people all day. We were even able to help draw names to choose a few people to win a door prize! Not only were there so many people to talk to, there were also so many trailers to see and tour. Arena Trailers has done and continues to do so much for WSCA and our members. Not to mention donate a trailer to the WSCA Queen each year, a perk that I especially like!
Make sure to check them out for any of your trailer needs! Another fun event that the court and I went to was the Skijoring Event at Canterbury Park held on February 12th. It was so amazing to see so many familiar faces and horses coming together to play a sport that is equally fun to watch as it is to compete! There were also quite a few WSCA members that ended up finishing in the top 6 and winning an award. We were also able to help with the Weiner dog races during the break and hand out some awards with the Miss Rodeo Minnesota queen and her court. If you have never attended this event before, I highly encourage you to try and make it out next year! I hope everyone continues to have a great end to their“ winter break”( if you decided to take one), and hopefully you are all getting eager for the upcoming show season!
