Stephen Hawking was probably the most famous genius of the modern age.

He was born In England, on January 8th 1942. Stephen wanted to study mathematics although his father would have preferred medicine. Mathematics was not available at his local college so he studied physics instead. After three years and not very much work, he was awarded a first class honors degree in physics.

We all hear the name “Stephen Hawking” and the first thing to come to our minds is “Oh yeah! He is a famous physician who is wheel chaired”… But we do not really understand his disease, so let me explain you briefly. He was wheel chaired because when he turned 21 years old, unfortunately he was diagnosed with ALS, which is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. So yeah… there is no cure. By now you might be wondering “poor guy”, but no! I am pretty sure that Stephen would not had liked the idea of having pity of him.

“He did not died, he just became star dust”
