PDA’ s fifth Leadership Academy class will convene in July and this could be the ideal opportunity for anyone looking to develop leadership skills, network with colleagues and gain a deeper understanding of the inner workings of organized dentistry.
The fourth Leadership Academy class is graduating at Pennsylvania’ s Dental Meeting in April, and with the completion of this latest group we will have 29 graduates in the program’ s four years. Many graduates have continued to be involved with organized dentistry by becoming active members in their local societies, along with filling positions for both PDA and ADA committees.
Some of these graduates have also become mentors for other Leadership Academy students. The 2026-27 Leadership Academy participants will embark on a journey of discovery with support from their mentors, PDA leaders and their fellow participants, culminating with a graduation at PDM 2027.
