This course will demonstrate how to place durable posterior composites predictably and aesthetically without post-operative sensitivity . Additionally , the preparation and cementation of Zirconia ( Zirconia Dioxide ) crowns will be discussed . Zirconia can be used in restorations such as crowns , bridges , inlays , veneers as well as resin-retained bridges ( Maryland bridge ).
Participants can expect to learn :
• How to place sensitivity-free posterior composites quickly , with sealed sub-gingival margin .
• When to bond vs . conventionally cement Zirconia restorations .
• When to use Zirconia vs . Lithium Disilicate .
About the Speaker Robert D . Marus , DDS , AAACD , FICD
Dr . Robert Marus of Yardley , Pennsylvania , is accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and is one of five dentists in the state of Pennsylvania to receive this honor . There are only 450 accredited members worldwide . A graduate of NYU College of Dentistry , Dr . Marus received his dental degree in 1985 , and completed his residency at the Jamaica Hospital in New York . Dr . Marus currently lectures to dentists on techniques in cosmetic and restorative dentistry and has been published in numerous national and international publications . Dr .
