The Peach Rose Connection: A Space to Disconnect to Reconnect

MAYELIN T. RODRIGUEZ
It is well known that lawyers face persistent stress: high-stakes matters, demanding deadlines, and continuous performance pressure. Without deliberate time to reset and recharge, these conditions often lead to exhaustion and burnout. Investing in practices that support mental and physical regulation is essential for sustaining both professional excellence and personal well-being. The Peach Rose Connection, located in downtown Fort Lauderdale, is a space created to support that process, offering what it calls“ soullevel support.” The interview below introduces the owner and explains more about the services offered.
1. Who is Deirdre Rose Sarantes? Tell us more about your background and experience. I’ m Deirdre Rose Sarantes, and I’ m the founder of The Peach Rose Connection. At my core, I’ m a wellness guide and a spaceholder for people who are carrying a lot— emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
My background includes years of coaching and working with individuals navigating stress, burnout, and major life transitions. I’ m a certified Master Christian Life Coach, but more than anything, my work is informed by lived experience. I went through a personal near-death experience that completely changed how I view life, presence, and healing.
That moment made it very clear to me how disconnected many of us are from our bodies and our breath, especially people in high-pressure careers. Everything I do now is about helping people slow down, feel safe again in their bodies, and reconnect to themselves in a real way.
2. What is the Peach Rose Connection and why the name? The Peach Rose Connection is a healing and restoration space. It’ s not a spa, and it’ s not therapy— it’ s a place designed to help people regulate their nervous systems and come back into alignment with themselves.
The name is very intentional. Peach represents softness, vulnerability, and humanity. Rose represents growth, resilience, and beauty through process. And the word Connection is really the heart of it all— it’ s about reconnecting to your breath, your body, your stillness, and your inner life.
Together, the name reflects the journey so many people are on: learning to be gentle with themselves while still growing.
It also symbolizes my middle name, Rose, and my dearest friend and doctor who saved my life’ s first name, Peach. The bond between us inspired every aspect of the name and what we represent.
3. What inspired you to create this space? This space was inspired by both my personal journey and what I was witnessing around me. After my neardeath experience, I became deeply aware of how fragile life is— and how many people are living in constant survival mode without even realizing it.
I saw successful, capable people who were outwardly thriving but inwardly exhausted. And I didn’ t see many spaces that truly addressed nervous system overload or emotional fatigue in a grounded, accessible way.
The Peach Rose Connection was created as a response to that. It’ s a place where people can finally exhale, slow down, and be held without having to perform or explain themselves.”
4. What kind of services and programs do you provide? We offer immersive, sensory-based wellness experiences that focus on grounding and nervous system regulation. That includes guided and self-guided rooms for things like grounded pressure therapy, aromatherapy healing touch, parasympathetic breathing, meditation, journaling, and reflective prayer or intention.
We also host mini-retreats, small group gatherings, private sessions, and collaborative wellness events. Everything we offer is intentionally designed to calm the body first— because once the body feels safe, the mind can finally rest.
5. What recommendations do you have for busy lawyers who still want to maintain their sanity while thriving in their careers? My biggest recommendation is to stop treating rest like a reward and start treating it like capacity management. Burnout isn’ t a personal failure— it’ s often the result of sustained nervous system overload.
Even small, consistent practices— like intentional breathing, quiet moments, or creating pause points between work and home— can make a huge difference.
Thriving long-term requires sustainability. When you protect your nervous system, you protect your clarity, your decisionmaking, and your leadership.
6. Do you have any upcoming events people should know about? Yes, we regularly host curated wellness experiences, mini-retreats, and intimate group gatherings for professionals, couples, and organizations. We also collaborate with community partners to create events that blend wellness, reflection, and meaningful connection.
We keep our website and social platforms updated with upcoming offerings, so there’ s always something people can plug into based on what they need in that season.
7. How can our readers learn more about the Peach Rose Connection? The best place to start is our website at peachroseconnection. com, where you can explore our philosophy, services, and booking options.
