The yoga instructor , entrepreneur and photographer has managed to take her three passions — yoga , photography and travel — and combine it into a single career . In fact , as you first walk into the studio , to your right are photos taken during Morris ’ twenty-plus years of travel and adventures .
The Love Offensive also offers classes in vinyasa , Bikram-based and restorative yoga , in addition to yin and slow flow and strength classes .
A sold-out class is about twenty-seven people , so reserve your spot : Yoga classes sell out quickly . Make sure to bring a water bottle , a towel and a change of clothes . On the second floor , students can help themselves to free espresso , tea , soda water , a shower or a dip in a cold-plunge tub . The former livework space has plenty of room for people to linger and chat post-yoga session .
Beside leading community-building yoga classes in Providence , Morris also hosts yoga and photography workshops around the world under the retreat arm of the yoga studio , Destination Love Offensive .
The Massachusetts native spent her twenties in Seattle , where she acquired a nutrition degree from Bastyr University . She fell in love with a power yoga class and continued attending classes at Baptiste Power Yoga in Boston when she returned home .
As she watched her mother battle Parkinson ’ s Disease for nearly three decades , Morris developed a deep sense of gratitude and a now-or-never attitude . When her mother passed away in September 2020 , Morris found the strength to turn her dream of owning a yoga studio into reality .
“ The reason I teach yoga , and why I teach with the passion I do , is in honor of my mom ,” she says .
From December 2020 to February 2021 , she drove cross country from Boston to Austin , Texas , visiting different yoga studios for inspiration . Once back home , Morris quit her yoga teaching job and raised $ 85,000 between a GoFundMe fundraiser and a private donation . With the help of her yoga community , she established The Love Offensive Hot Power Yoga in November 2021 .
