Step 22 Using the 4 tip in the Hot Pink coupler piping bag , start some string piping where the tops of the swags meet . Start your string piping by touching the tip to the cake and carefully pushing out the buttercream . As the string forms , adjust the turntable slowly and move as fluidly as possible to aim the string across the cake above the swag . The more pressure you push , the quicker the string will form . It is tricky to adjust both pressure and speed but any mistakes or broken strings can be picked up and removed with a skewer .
Step 23 Step 24 Repeat this step with a second string above the last .
Using the Raspberry bag , change out the tip to a number 14 . Now to add some cute squiggly swags above the string piping ! Starting at the tip of the swags below , start pushing buttercream out of the bag . As you do so , move your piping tip up and down onto the cake . As you move further into the centre of the swag , taper the length larger and then smaller again once you move upwards towards the end of the swag .
