Spring is right around the corner ! Happy March !
I am praying that March brings more warm weather and less snow . I am feeling the itch to get outside and spend some quality time with my horse ( without worrying about freezing my toes off ).
I had an extremely busy month in February . I began the month out in Lanesboro , MN at the Winter Round-Up , put on by the MN 4-H Horse Program . I had an absolute blast discussing the Western Saddle Clubs Association Royalty Contest with some pretty amazing young ladies . Shout out to Alison Murrell for inviting me and being such a gracious host !
The next weekend was spent with my own club , the Minnesota Valley Riders Saddle Club at our 2022 Year-End Banquet . I got to be in my favorite place , behind the microphone , and present awards to our hardworking club members . Throughout the night , Princess Sarah and I had a blast mingling and catching up with some old and new friends . The Minnesota Valley Riders Saddle Club was a huge part of my success in becoming the 2022-2023 WSCA Queen , I cannot thank all the members enough for the love and support they have shown me since becoming a member seventeen short years ago .
The court and I got to spend a day in Cannon Falls , MN with Mark and his team at the Arena Trailer Sales Annual Show . The whole team is so knowledgeable in their business and would love to help find your dream trailer . If you are in the market for a new trailer , check them out .
The last of our February events were spent attending Skijoring at Canterbury Park and the North Metro Association Banquet . I love making memories and gaining friends along the way this year .
March will be another busy month . Mark your calendars , the WSCA General Delegation Meeting will be held on Sunday , March 5th at Canterbury Park . The court and I would love to see all of our horse friends join us !
To all the WSCA-loving ladies out there we are also working on nailing down a date for the WSCA Royalty Clinic . If you are interested in running for WSCA Royalty be on the lookout for information about the clinic on the WSCA Facebook page . It is truly an experience that will never be forgotten
