My favourite cake flavour combo is a chocolate cake with my chocolate swiss meringue buttercream , filled with raspberry curd .
WHERE DO YOU FIND INSPIRATION FOR YOUR DESIGNS ? I love to work with texture and lots of tones , so paintings and artists definitely inspire me ! I love playing with shape and angles to create an aesthetic visual , whether that be through chocolate shards , buttercream swatches , or a dried flower arrangement . Other cake artists constantly inspire me as well !
ANY ADVICE FOR ANYONE THINKING OF STARTING A BAKING BUSINESS ? Get the word out through friends , and then you will begin to receive orders from friends of friends , and so on ! It ’ s all about networking , and with time , you ’ ll be out to the public !
