Wellness Wishes
The MAE Organization for the Homeless held its annual Be the Light black tie gala at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Warwick . The event , which featured music , a ballet performance and appetizers cooked on-site by celebrity chef Frank Terranova , raised $ 36,000 for the group ’ s newly opened Wellness Center . The organization hopes to connect clients with mental health services as well as clothing , haircuts and other basic needs in the new center . – LAUREN CLEM
