It is with pride , excitement , and a big dose of sadness we announce that after 15 years of incredible service to AAMD and CAA , Betty Knecht has accepted a new position with the Colorado Mortgage Lenders Association ( CMLA ) as their new Executive Director .
Betty has spent her time at AAMD working relentlessly toward making the AAMD Events & Education Department one of the very best in the nation ! It has been inspiring to watch her grow and lead the Department with an unmatched level of dedication and work-ethic . Managing the hundreds of details of every AAMD event is a heavy burden , and Betty has done it so well , for so long , and with such great passion .
It ’ s clear how much Betty cares so very deeply about the Membership of AAMD . During Betty ’ s tenure , the growth of our programs have quadrupled - but the quality of the AAMD Experience has improved even more . The results of her work have helped to introduce and connect so many AAMD Members , and to help build their businesses . So many of us have Betty to thank for our successes !
We ’ ll miss Betty in ways we probably cannot fully realize yet , but we ’ re so excited for her new venture … and wish her the best of luck and success at CMLA .
We are fortunate to be able to promote Lisa Godbehere , AAMD ’ s Director of Education for the last eight years- as the new Vice President of Events & Education . Lisa ’ s experience , professionalism and hard work have prepared her well to take over !
