Step 5 Paint your heart with water as required , starting from the centre and place the folded strip on to the hear in the middle . Wind it around in a circle , ensuring it is attached to the heart . Use a dresden tool to gently poke the centre of the strip so it bonds to the heart .
Step 6 Continue to frill your strips of fondant and attach in a spiral fashion . when you have filled the heart , cut smaller pieces of your folded ruffle to fill in the cheeks of the heart

If you have some flat or squished ruffles , use the dresden tool to gently lift and add more movement . Set aside to dry overnight for optimal results
