HEAD GOLF PROFESSIONAL
Dear Member ,
What a beautiful last couple of weeks we have had ! Although the beginning of February was cold , the weather finally decided to begin cooperating for us and we had some excellent days for golf . The courses have been packed full of avid players and the Club has been running on all cylinders . I want to thank you for staying on top of your tee times . Showing up when you make a reservation or canceling it when you can ’ t play allows our Club to operate efficiently . A special thanks goes to each member group leader . Their efforts each week make Sun ‘ N Lake a special place to be a member . Please make sure to keep your group leaders updated on your golfing plans each week . Last minute cancelations or additions are very tough adjustments for them so let ’ s try to make their lives easy by planning well ahead .
Congratulations goes to Larry Krick who had a hole-in-one two consecutive Saturdays ! His bar bill this past month will be slightly higher but I ’ m sure it ’ s well worth it . Many golfers play their entire lives without a HIO and to have two within 8 days is quite the achievement . Also , I must admit that my oldest daughter , Rebecca , kicked my butt for the very first time . She shot a super smooth 77 from the Gold tees on Deer Run ! Her game is getting better quickly and it ’ s awesome to see her hard work paying dividends . Dad will have to find some practice time to keep up with her .
March brings another round of member tournaments and demo days . Mark your calendars for all the events you would like to attend .

In closing , please continue to take care of the golf courses by repairing ball marks , filling divots , and keeping your cart on the path around all tees and greens . We also would like to see you continue to drive in the rough as much as possible to help keep our fairways from too much compaction .
