YOUNG MEMBERS CORNER
The Younger Members had a successful Happy Hour for the first return in what is hopefully a post Covid era . All members in attendance we excited to network and socialize at a real live in person event . Local craft beer was enjoyed by everyone in attendance .
We had ASCE members from Granite Engineering , GEI , GPI and Collins Engineers . With such a wide range of expertise across a broad range of civil engineering disciplines , there was plenty to discuss about the current state of the engineering industry ,

The YM group is excited to continue the long-standing tradition of the monthly HAPPY HOUR . The next upcoming happy hour will be Thursday April 8th so mark your calendars . We are calling it Drinks and Discussions ( we ’ re sticking with the name until someone more clever than me can think of something better ). The topic of the evening will be emerging technology in civil engineering . If you have worked on any interesting projects or find any examples of emerging technology that help engineers do their job more efficiently , more cost effective , or just plain cool , we would love to hear about it .
