Rhode Island Monthly has partnered with the Rhode Island Foundation to present our annual Common Good Awards . The purpose of this program is to honor companies in Rhode Island who encourage their employees to participate in philanthropic efforts in their communities . Due to the impact that the pandemic had placed on our community we looked for companies who rose to the occasion in 2020 . This year ’ s winners were honored with a video presentation that premiered on RIMonthly . com / common-good-awards-2021 on January 14 , 2021 . Congratulations to the following winners , in the Micro category ( 1-9 employees ) Bloom Back Flowers , in the Small category ( 10-49 employees ) Grey Sail Brewing , in the Medium category ( 50-249 employees ) Falvey Insurance Group and in the Large category ( 250 + employees ) Ocean State Job Lot . The judges also awarded an honorable mention to What ’ s Up Newp .
