LETTER FROM THE COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR
What ’ s your number ? Our staff really wants to know ! While this may sound like a cheesy pick-up line , we really do want to know . Why do you ask ? So , we can be sure that the correct charges are being applied to your account . Several of our members have similar or the same last names and can easily be mistaken or accidently selected when in a list ( and some of our staff members have fat fingers ). Jokes aside , we need you to make sure we have the right account by double checking your bill . Please check that we not only that we have the right account , but that what is on there is yours and sign the bottom of the receipt . The last part is especially important : when I remove a charge from your account , and do not know whose it should be , the server loses whatever tip they received on the check .
We are also working with our staff to make them more diligent on double checking with you that we do have the correct person . They don ’ t want to lose any of those tips either .
The weather is getting nicer and we know that you will be spending more time on the course and enjoying the patio for lunch , dinner , happy hour or a couple cocktails . Please keep having your number in mind when checking in at the shop counter , purchasing from the beverage cart or ordering in the restaurant .
