what got me better the most : the private lessons . But I like the group lessons , too , because you can see what other people do , like they saw that I was holding my front brake in for the splatter , and I let go of it and it just worked . Haha , I didn ' t know I was holding my front brake in , but I guess I was ."
Creed also competed in the season opener of the SEER enduro in Hollytree , and finished 18th place in the Silver class ahead of 30 of his competitors . When asked if he saw his trials training improving his enduro riding ,
" Oh yeah , it helped a ton actually ! I notice a lot of people are faster than me because I didn ' t race motocross or anything , I just went straight into hard enduro , and a lot of them are like GNCC and motocross guys . When they get on the single track or the open track , they ' re just gone . But then I catch them in the creek beds because they ' ll get stuck on like a three-foot wall or something . I ' m actually relieved when I get to a technical section because I know that I can make it up , but when I get to the single track , I ' m like " ugh , I gotta try and go fast again ." [ laughs ] I don ' t like going fast . I ' m friends with a lot of people who go fast , and they break a lot of bones .

And I know there aren ' t too many people out there doing it ; Ryan Young ' s doing training schools , and maybe a couple other guys at TTC , but there aren ' t too many people offering trials clinics around , so I specifically like to do trials clinics and give back when I can . It ' s just really satisfying to help people out and watching them actually progress right in front of your eyes . Sometimes they may not know what they ' re doing wrong , and you can give them a bit of advice and they figure it out right there . Same thing with the enduro clinics ; there ' s probably a couple more guys doing those , but again , I think it ' s cool that amateurs can come out and spend the day with a Pro rider and watch them do right in front of them and figure it out right there . I really like watching guys progress and learn . Even helping the kids out and try getting the next generation of hard enduro and trials riders to the next level . That ' s the goal behind these clinics for sure .
It ' s a good , safe learning environment and you ' re more
