Melvin , Angel , and our home base- The RV . We thankfully got 6 bikes and gear crammed in my little 6x12 trailer . The Rv was loaded down with ourselves , water , food , and most importantly- Beer . By 6:30am we were on our way . The roads were covered in snow and ice as we embarked on our 11 hour drive , and the weather report for Hollytree didnt look much better . high of 40 * and rain for race day ! Glad were leaving cold and miserable , for more cold and miserable I thought to myself . " Oh well , atleast we wont sweat as much " I found a comfy spot , and was quickly asleep . I awoke about an hour later to loud spanish Club music , and to find out that there was " an incident "
Taking a slippery corner with a little too much gusto , they drifted the RV sideway across all lanes ! " The trailer was next to the RV !" - I was glad I missed it ! Between the anemic v10 RV barely doing 65mph , traffic , weather , " Washing machine conditions at the rear sleeping quarters ," and fuel stops , it was a long drive . We arrived around 6:30pm at the Hollytree offroad park and it ' s Iconic Sasquatch . After registering ourselves , and our RV , we set forth finding parking . As soon as one tire left the gravel driveway , the RV found the limits of traction and became stuck . Digging a hole in the Alabama mud covered Ice , and blocking the only access road to that
