What are your practice area ( s )? I ’ ve been practicing law since 1998 and was an Assistant State Attorney with the 19th Judicial Circuit in Martin County for approximately 2 ½ years prior to becoming a Plaintiff ’ s trial lawyer . I love helping the injured fight for their right to receive fair and just compensation . I also love being a trial lawyer and spending time in Court fighting for my clients .
Where are you from ? I was born and raised in Florida , my parents are from New York
Where did you go to college ? I went to both the Air Force Academy and FSU for Undergrad and FSU law school , graduated law school in 1998
Which service organizations you are a part of or other unique ways you give back to the community . I currently serve on the board of the PBC Bar Association where I ’ m also co-chair of the Committee for Diversity and Inclusion . In addition , I ’ m a member of the Florida Justice Association and I am a Past President and current member of the Palm Beach County Justice Association
Tell us an interesting or unknown fact about you that you : I think most people know that I ’ m a football fanatic , but what you might not know is that I played on the Air Force Academy football team
Future life goals professionally and personally . I ’ m married to Molly Rooney Smith and together we have 4 children Sandy , Tucker , Charlie , and Harry , plus 3 furry children Chief , Bettis and Juju ( all huge mastiffs )
I would like to grow my firm , continue to try cases and keep passionately helping those who have been injured by the negligent actions of others .
