March 2018 Week 4 WEDNESDAY | Page 4

5) The Lamb of God atones for OUR sins.

Hebrews 9:14-15

14 How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death so that we may serve the living God! 15 For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant...

6. He came to give us eternal life-John 10:10

......I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

7) Christ Died for us

Philippians 2:8-9a

8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. 9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow.

As a New Testament believer, we don't have to sacrifice a lamb every time we transgress the law but God's principle is forever the same. He offered a better covenant in that Jesus Christ would be slain, once and for all. His death covered sins past, present and future. His blood and love covered the multitude of sin. And just as Israel was back in right standings with God after their sacrifice, we can now come boldly to the throne of Grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace in our time of need Hebrew4: 16. Our King will receive us because our sins have been covered by the Lamb of God!

Let us pray:

Dear Savior of the World and our one true King. Your love has granted us the ability to be reconciled with our Heavenly Father. Your sacrifice has cleansed us from all unrighteousness and now we can walk in Righteousness, Peace, and Joy in the Holy Ghost because we can now enter in the Kingdom of God. I pray that we share this blessing with everyone. I pray we extend Your gift to all lost souls. And we thank You for dying the death that we earned. These things we ask in Jesus' name! AMEN!
