March 2018 Week 4 THURSDAY | Page 3

Good day and welcome to your Kingdom Connection for March 2018- Week 4: THURSDAY! How exciting is it to talk about our Lord and SAVIOR!? My prayer is that no one learning from MY devotionals are ever tricked or persuaded into living for and serving "another" Jesus. Our Christology must be accurate because this is where our salvation lies. There are 4 things that Christ HAD to do in order to procure our Salvation and reconcile us back to God.

1) He Had To Be Born From A Virgin

Romans 5:12 explains that because the first Adam sinned, sin entered the world and death came through sin. Adam would have never died, physically or spiritually. God made him perfect. But because he sinned we all are now sinners. We are sinners not because we sin but we sin because we are sinners. Our nature is disconnected from God. We are born in sin and shaped in iniquity. Our DNA is from Adam and Eve and it is corrupt. Babies come here self-centered and self-focused with a desire to please themselves and unless someone is born again, this how the remainder of life is spent. God has to SUPERNATURALLY be made Lord of our lives. So in order to be supernaturally born again, Jesus had to open this pathway.

2) Only Jesus Could Do It!

The Lord does not change. How He operates and what He mandates stands forever. When He decided that death or the shedding of blood was what was needed in order to pay the penalty for sin it stands to this day. Purity is what He demands. Holy and unblemished is the requirement. No human born with the DNA of Adam and Eve could ever qualify. ALL of our natures are corrupt but the Last ADAM was born from the Holy Spirit. He was fully God AND fully man. Man had to die for Mankind but only a a pure and holy man could be our ultimate sacrifice. The courts tried to, but could not FIND NO FAULT. He was sinless and perfect even though:

1) tempted by Satan in the wilderness,

2) tested by the religious world

3) tried in 2 court rooms

He was and is the ONLY acceptable Savior for the world.

3) The He HAD to DIE

His righteousness was only the beginning for us. He had to do what was required for OUR sins to be forgiven and that was die.

According to the Law, in fact, nearly everything must be purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. Hebrews 9:22

Atonement could not be met

Justification could not occur

Redemption of mankind would be impossible

Reconciliation could never begin

Regeneration would not be possible

Jesus had to be found innocent and then die upon the cross for us. No one took His life, He laid it down ( John 10:8). He understood the Word of God because He was the Word (John 1:1) and then He became flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:14) He came to die. He came to give His life and to pay the the price for our sins. Romans 6:23 tells us the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life.

The Lamb of God atones for OUR sins.

Hebrews 9:14-15

23 F23 For the Lord will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the Lord will pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you. 24 And you shall observe this thing as an ordinance for you and your sons forever. 25 It will come to pass when you come to the land which the Lord will give you, just as He promised, that you shall keep this service. 26 And it shall be, when your children say to you, ‘What do you mean by this service?’ 27 that you shall say, ‘It is the Passover sacrifice of the Lord, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt when He struck the Egyptians and delivered our households.’” So the people bowed their heads and worshiped. 28 Then the children of Israel went away and did so; just as the Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did.or the Lord will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the Lord will pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you. 28 Then the children of Israel went away and did so; just as the Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did.
