Canadian Cartoonist ’ s Hall of Fame at a ceremony in Toronto as part of the 8th annual Doug Wright Awards for Canadian Cartooning . Also in 2012 , he won the Gold Prize from the National Magazine Awards in the Words and Pictures Category for his visual memoir about the 1972 Canada-Russia hockey series for History Magazine .
