HOPE CHURCH GARAGE SALE
The temperature was cold in Lennoxville but people were out heading to the Hope Community Church last Saturday morning to attend their annual Giant Garage Sale. Proceeds went to the Cornerstone Food Bank, which helps provide hearty meals to many in the Lennoxville area and far beyond. The Hope Community Church and Cornerstone certainly work hand in hand to provide for the community year round.
The doors swung open to the sale at 8 a. m., but people were lined up waiting by 7 a. m., awaiting the first crack at the treasure

filled tables. They ranged from the tiniest knick-knack right up to household furniture. The line was long at the pay tables, but it was worth the wait. Everything for sale was paid by donation.

SUGAR CAMP SUPPER
In Sawyerville, at the Sawyerville Catholic Church it has become a spring tradition to hold a Sugar Camp Supper that attracts hundreds from the surrounding communities to a tasty supper consisting of pancakes, ham, eggs, baked beans and so much more to fill up your tummy.
The afternoon all kicked off at 4 p. m. on March 4, with a church service up in the church until close to 5 p. m. Then, all came down to enjoy their supper and have a visit with friends that some maybe only see at this supper. This supper raises money for the church so they can continue holding these events throughout the year. It was another success for the hardworking group of men and women of the Sawyerville Catholic Church.
