Page 5 Loepp Matching Gift Challenge Inspires Donors When Campaign Co-Chair Dan Loepp and his wife, Eton Board of Trustee, Amy Loepp, announced they would match all new gifts to the campaign until May 31, 2015, up to $250,000, they hoped the gift would inspire donors. “One of our goals with the match is to encourage people to give more. Whatever the amount, donors will have the satisfaction of knowing that their contribution will be doubled,” said Dan. Through the match, donors can have an even greater impact on the success of the Teach Reach Grow Campaign. The response to the match has indeed been inspiring, with over 40 new donors making gifts in the two months since it was announced. One such donor is Mr. Warren Burt, a long-time annual giving donor and grandparent of current Eton student, Sara Debono. “Giving to Eton is important to me—I have seen the difference Eton has made for my granddaughter and I’m thrilled to know my gift to the capital campaign will go twice as far.” Spreading the word about the matching gift opportunity is an important part of our campaign strategy over the next 3 months.
