Page 2 Ultimate Kick-off Party Raises over $230,0000 for Teach Reach Grow Campaign Mark LaNeve, co-chair of the Teach Reach Grow campaign, and his wife Paula, Eton’s Corporate Relations Manager, have been involved at Eton since their son Drew was a 6th grader. Drew is now 23 and a graduate of the REACH program at the University of Iowa. He currently works full-time as an Assistant Traffic Coordinator at Team Detroit. Always a bright student, Eton helped Drew learn the tools and strategies to help him succeed at college and in the workforce. On September 8th, 2014, the Lions kicked-off the Monday Night football season with a showdown against the Giants. The LaNeve’s, along with the committee at right, hosted their own fundraising kick-off for Eton’s campaign during a viewing party at Motor City Casino. “We had over 40 corporate partners join us on this special night for Eton—together with the host committee and individual donors, we were able to accomplish something really remarkable for Eton,” said LaNeve. The fundraiser had over 200 attendees, featured a chalk talk by Boomer Esiason, and included appearances by Hall of Famers Lynn Swann, Andre Reed, and Charlie Sanders. The event raised over $230,000 for the Teach Reach Grow campaign.
