Architects Rocky Roquemore and Jeff Burton faced a tough test at Chapel Hills as the terrain was full of steep hills and rocky
outcroppings. But their hard work paid off as the 6,478-yard, par-72 course offers a great combination of challenge, playability and
scenic views. Its signature holes are the two finishing holes on each nine which share a lake and a multi-tiered double green. The
course also features water on four of the last five holes and fast, undulating greens which were recently converted to Mini Verde
Bermuda for superior putting surfaces.
Mirror Lake is a 36-hole facility that also offers panoramic views and plenty of challenges. Set on beautiful 100-acre Mirror Lake,
the 6,826-yard Lake Course and the 7,097-yard Mountain Course were both designed by Roquemore and Burton and take full
advantage of their scenic location. Both put a premium on accuracy, as water comes into play on 11 holes on the Lake Course and
on 10 holes on the Mountain Course. In addition, both have two of the toughest finishing holes in the Canongate network as water
guards both greens.
To help you get your game in shape, both clubs also offer excellent practice facilities with driving ranges, short-game areas and
putting greens as well as private lessons from the golf staff. There are also active golf leagues for men, women and seniors, and
Chapel Hills is home to an award-winning Golf Academy for juniors.
In addition to golf, there are countless opportunities for members and their families to enjoy these two clubs including swimming
pools with snack bars, six lighted tennis courts, great dining and bar options and special events. If you and your family want to
