THE MAGAZINE ROOM
The Good and the Bad
This month we have Good and Bad news. First we will start with the good news; we finally got Trent VanArsdalens 2010
Chevrolet Camaro better known as Project STUNNER featured and on the cover on this month s issue. This also marks
the return of John aka Chicken Jackson to Gauge Magazine. Chicken shot for us several years ago when was running
around the show circuit rocking a Ford Thunderbird and had a lot less facial hair. John is most recently known for being
one of the great photographers in the automotive industry, John is doing business as Not Stock Photography and
traveling from Coast to Coast in his Corvair Van. You will start seeing his work from time to time in future issues. Make
sure to check out his web site at www.notstockphotography.com We also have a few new additions to the Gauge staff
as well. Nick Means has joined us and is responsible for this month s cover and for shooting the fabulous Gauge Girl
Emily Rigg. I would also like to welcome shooters Gabe Gomez from Texas and Rick Paco Banda from Indiana to the
Gauge Magazine staff.
Now for the bad news, our long time West Coast photographer Cheri Delgodilla has chosen to move on to a new
adventure and will no longer be working with us. We wish her all the luck and enjoyed having her on our staff. So if you
are a photographer on the West Coast please give us an email if interested in shooting with us.
Our 8th annual Slamology is just a few months away… Get ready for 2011.. It is showing to be the largest Slamology
yet.. We have a bunch of new sponsors coming aboard and registration # s are already at a record high. www.slamology.
