Luck of the Irish to you , WSCA !
I am Alexandra “ Alleigh ” Petty and am proudly representing WSCA this year as Ms . Congeniality ! I hail from Pony Pals Saddle Club and could not be more thankful for their support on this journey . Outside of WSCA , I am a mom of 3- Landon ( 8 ), Natalie ( 6 ) and MaeKenzie ( 3 ). I am a Registered Nurse working as a Patient Care Supervisor at Mercy and Unity Hospitals in the metro area . Following Champ Show , I lost my beloved mare , JLO ; I reflect on my time with her with immense gratitude for her heart , patience , and all the opportunities I was allowed because of her . I could not be more thankful for the team of people that worked tirelessly to give her a chance and the support I received after with offers of horses to ride while I continue my search for my next partner !
The WSCA Court has continued to keep our schedule full representing this incredible organization at any opportunity ! February brought Eliza and I to Bulls , Broncs and Barrels at R & J Arena where we were able to connect with many rodeo goers , enjoy great entertainment and get a little shopping done at one of the fantastic Royalty sponsors- A Bit of Tack . The Court attended multiple banquets- Elk River Saddle Club , Double Bit Riders Saddle Club and Minnesota Valley Riders Saddle Club to celebrate successful years for all ! Wrapping up the month , We attended ARENA Trailer Sales Annual Open House Event- we have so much gratitude for their ongoing support of WSCA and the beautiful trailer they provide the WSCA Queen with for her year ! Isabella fearlessly took to the Skijoring slopes with previous Ms . Games / Ms . Congeniality Courtney Betsch . The rest of us cheered them on !
This month we will be taking the “ Polar Plunge ” in support of the Special Olympics ! In addition , we will be attending more banquets in March as well as the WSCA General Meeting on March 2nd- We hope to see all of the Saddle Club Delegates there !
The longest day of the year has passed and the “ rainbow ” of Winter is on the way to the “ Pot of Gold ” of warmer weather and show season ! Our Royalty Show is on June 7th at Northwest Saddle Club ’ s arena with judge Ashley Zutz !
