This growing company specializes in a variety of Pacific Northwest foods and
gifts made from Washington-grown cherries. Its hand-dipped chocolates are
popular with online buyers and at Pike Place Market ― and they’re all made
in Prosser.
Launched on the family orchard in Prosser in
1988, Chukar Cherries has been family-owned and
team-operated ever since. The company hand-
crafts all its confections, using Old World copper
kettles to marry locally grown and in-house-dried
Bing, Rainier and Montmorency tart cherries
with freshly roasted nuts and European pastry
chocolate. A portrait of every single employee
hangs on the office wall.
